Nansady Keita drum workshop in Sweden

Nansady Keita is the nephew of the internationally known djembefolan Famoudou Konata and regarded by many as a successor to Famoudou.
This great master himself has said that Nansady be as much as he can on the traditional drum rhythms from Hamann in Guinea.
Nansady has toured with Famoudou Konata ensembles in Japan and Europe and is involved in six of Famoudous CD recordings,
He has also played drums in the film Blood Diamond, including the actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Nansady has long and broad experience in teaching and he is a good teacher when he taught, among other things, the United States, Holland,
Storbritannien, Frankrike, Tyskland, Japan och Guinea. Britain, France, Germany, Japan and Guinea.

Local
The course will be held in Kärralund School, Birkagatan 61st Kärralund school has a beautiful location close Delsjön
large natural areas and about 20-25 minutes walk from the center of town. With tram no. 5  you can reach the center in less than 10 minutes.

Train
From Brunnsparken get tram number 5 in the "Torp".
Get off at stop "Töpel Street". The school is located about 150 meters from the bus stop.

Car
Will you drive from Stockholm via the E20 while the exit number 76 towards "Lisebergsbyn." Then Delsjö road straight ahead until you reach a roundabout,
sväng höger in på Welandersgatan. turn right onto Welander Street.

Will you drive from Malmö via the E20, E6, road 40 or 45 while the exit No. 71 towards "Örgryte".  Then follow the signs for "Lisebergsbyn".
Run Delsjö road straight ahead until you reach a roundabout, turn left onto Welander Street.
Parking at Kärralund The school is free.

Accommodation
Lisebergsbyn - including a campsite is located about 700 meters from Kärralund School.
There is also Kärralund Hotel with 13 rooms for 1-6 guests and hotel cottages (Hotellbyn) with seating for 1-4 people.

It takes about 25 minutes to go to the swimming area and 5 minutes by car.
